Why Do Cats Think They Own the World

Cats walk around like they’re royalty and maybe they are, in their own mysterious way. From knocking things off shelves to ignoring commands with the grace of a queen, cats seem to believe that the world was made for them. They’ll nap in the middle of your laptop keyboard, steal your chair the second you stand up, and give you a look of pure judgment when you disturb their slumber. Unlike dogs, who aim to please, cats act like they’re doing you a favor just by being in the same room.

This air of superiority might be what makes cats so amusing and fascinating. We feed them, clean up after them, and still, they treat us like loyal servants. Maybe it’s their ancient Egyptian past, where they were literally worshipped, that shaped their attitude today. Or maybe they just know how cute they are and use it to their full advantage. Either way, cats definitely act like they own the world and somehow, we’re all okay with that. Shutdown123
